Instructions for Gynobest vaginal suppositories No. 10
Composition
One vaginal suppository contains:
hyaluronic acid (sodium hyaluronate) – 10 mg
lactic acid – 100 mg
chamomile oil extract – 100 mg
aloe oil extract – 100 mg
eucalyptus chlorophyll oil extract – 50 mg
Suppository base: polyethylene glycol – 1500.
Active ingredients
Sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid) – promotes tissue regeneration without scar formation, has the ability to stimulate cell migration and proliferation. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide found in every tissue of the body. It provides protection for cellular structures, forming a gel between cells, and promotes hydration. With age, the production of hyaluronic acid decreases.
Chlorophyllipt extract – Chlorophyllipt is a mixture of chlorophylls from eucalyptus leaves. It contains tannins, ellagic acid, flavonoids, resins, wax, essential oil (terpene compounds), especially active against gram-positive, gram-negative microorganisms, which have a detrimental effect on fungi and protozoa. It has antibacterial (bacteriostatic and bactericidal) activity against staphylococci, Escherichia, tuberculosis mycobacteria, Trichomonas, dysentery amoeba, and also exhibits antiseptic and anti-inflammatory activity, promotes rapid healing of wound surfaces.
Aloe oil extract supports local immunity and helps restore metabolism in vaginal tissues, i.e. promotes wound healing. Also, due to the saponin content, aloe extract has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects, reduces the inflammatory process.
Lactic acid is one of the important components that determine the acidity of the vaginal environment (pH). An acidic environment inhibits the growth of pathogenic microbes. If for some reason there is a deficiency of lactobacilli, the acidity of the vaginal environment decreases, and the number of pathogenic microorganisms increases rapidly. Therefore, lactic acid contributes to the normalization (pH) of the vagina and the restoration of normal microflora.
Chamomile oil extract, due to its rich chemical composition and high biological activity, has anti-inflammatory, emollient, antiseptic, and analgesic effects.
Recommendations for use
It may be recommended by a doctor for long-term use of glucocorticosteroids, antifungal, antimicrobial drugs, and the need to restore the functional state of the mucous membrane in inflammatory processes of the vagina (bacterial vaginosis, nonspecific colpitis).
For atrophic/dystrophic colpitis, cervical erosion, and vaginal mucosal dryness in women during menopause as a supportive agent.
After childbirth, after aggressive treatment methods (diathermocoagulation, laser/cryotherapy of the cervix or vagina, abortion, insertion of foreign objects), after vaginal/intravaginal surgical interventions (prolapse of the vaginal walls, cervix and body of the uterus, pelvic floor incompetence).
For preventive purposes: after visiting the pool, sauna or swimming in water bodies. In cases of injury to the vaginal mucosa. In the absence of conditions for performing hygiene procedures (travel, trips, hikes, etc.).
Method of application
It is applied vaginally, use once a day (in the evening). Suppository Gynobest is inserted deep into the vagina. If the suppository is too soft, it should be cooled for several minutes in the refrigerator or in cold water, without removing it from the blister.
The period of use of Ginobest suppositories is at least 5 days.
Course of application: individual from 5 days to 30 days, depending on the condition and individual characteristics.
