Hot paraffin is safe and cannot leave a burn because the product has low thermal conductivity. Therefore, paraffin can be used at home.

Indications for use

Paraffin as a means for applications is used in the following cases:

Method of application

Before applying paraffin to the application product, it must be melted in a water bath.

You can use it in the following way:

The product is applied to the skin using a brush.

Gauze or a bandage in 8-10 layers is applied to the skin, which has been previously soaked in paraffin and carefully squeezed out. Then oilcloth is applied (to enhance the warming effect), and a blanket is placed on top of it.

Paraffin is poured into molds, and after solidification, it is wrapped in oilcloth and applied to the desired area of skin.

One session lasts 15-30 minutes depending on the severity of the injury. After the procedure, rest for 30-40 minutes is required. A full course of paraffin treatment is from 10 to 20 sessions.
