Hawthorn fruits are indicated for functional disorders of cardiac activity, angioneurosis, and as an adjunct to basic antiarrhythmic therapy for mild forms of atrial fibrillation and paroxysmal tachycardia.

Composition

Active ingredient: hawthorn fruit (Crataegi fructus).

1 filter pack contains hawthorn fruit (Grataegi fructus) 4.0 g

Contraindication

Severe hypotension and bradycardia. Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug.

Method of application

Place 1 filter bag in a glass or enameled container, pour 100 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Take warm 3 times a day 30 minutes before meals: adults and children over 14 years old - 100 ml.

Shake the decoction before taking.

Overdose

With prolonged use in large doses, drowsiness, decreased blood pressure, bradycardia are possible. If signs of overdose appear, the drug should be discontinued and symptomatic and supportive therapy should be carried out (according to the clinical condition of the patient).

Side effects

Allergic reactions (including hyperemia, rash, itching, skin swelling), drowsiness, decreased heart rate.

Interaction

May enhance the effects of hypnotics, sedatives, hypotensive and antiarrhythmic drugs, and cardiac glycosides.

Storage conditions

Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C, out of the reach of children.

Shelf life - 2 years.
