Composition

Hematogen is a means of correcting metabolic processes. A source of complete protein, fats, carbohydrates and minerals, contained in proportions close to the composition of human blood. The drug stimulates hematopoiesis, promotes iron absorption in the intestine, increases hemoglobin content in the blood, and regulates redox processes in the body.

Indication
As an adjuvant for anemias of various genesis, especially post-hemorrhagic and iron deficiency; conditions accompanied by hypotrophy, cachexia; during the period of convalescence after various diseases.

- carbohydrate metabolism disorders.

Hematogen is taken orally. For preventive purposes, children over 2 years of age, adolescents and adults are prescribed 1–2 tablets 2–3 times a day for 1–2 months. During the period of convalescence after iron deficiency anemia, the drug is prescribed 2 tablets per day for 2 months.
