Composition

Recommendations for use

Enriched phospholipids, silymarin and alpha-lipoic acid, which are part of HEPATOMAX® FORTE, are used:

• for the prevention of toxic effects on the liver associated with prolonged use of medications (antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy, etc.), alcohol consumption, smoking, and exposure to adverse environmental factors;
• as a concomitant agent for normalizing digestion, metabolism and the activity of the hepatobiliary zone in allergic and skin diseases;
• as an aid for normalizing digestion, metabolism, and the activity of the hepatobiliary zone when taking medications aimed at reducing excess body weight;
• in the complex therapy of chronic hepatitis of various etiologies, liver cirrhosis.

Method of administration and doses

Adults and children over 12 years old: 1-2 capsules three times a day during meals, washed down with water. The course of administration is 30-40 days. A break of 2 weeks. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

Children from 8 to 12 years old: 1 capsule three times a day during meals, washed down with water. The course of administration is 30-40 days. A break of 2 weeks. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

If prescribed by a doctor, long-term use for 4-6 months is possible.

As a preventive measure: 1 capsule 2 times a day with meals for 30-40 days. Break 2 weeks. If necessary, the course can be repeated.

A doctor's consultation is required before use.

Application features

The use of HEPATOMAX® FORTE by women during pregnancy and lactation is possible only as prescribed by a doctor.

HEPATOMAX® FORTE does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Alpha-lipoic acid, which is part of HEPATOMAXA® FORTE, may enhance the hypoglycemic (sugar-lowering) effect of insulin or oral antidiabetic agents, therefore, in the first days of taking HEPATOMAXA® FORTE, more frequent monitoring of blood sugar levels should be performed.

Alpha-lipoic acid forms complex compounds with metal ion complexes, therefore it is not recommended to use HEPATOMAX® FORTE with iron, magnesium, platinum, etc. preparations - due to a possible decrease in their effectiveness.

Overdose

When using HEPATOMAX® FORTE in unreasonably high doses, dyspeptic phenomena (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) are possible. Symptomatic treatment, gastric lavage, and administration of enterosorbents are indicated.

Storage conditions

Store in the manufacturer's packaging, in a dry place, protected from light, at a temperature of 18°C to 25°C and a relative humidity of no more than 75%, 24 months from the date of manufacture.
