Pharmacological properties

The action of the drug is due to the sum of the effects inherent in its constituent components. Heparin is a direct-acting anticoagulant, when applied topically prevents or limits thrombus formation and improves local blood flow, exhibits anti-edematous and anti-inflammatory effects, and promotes the regeneration of connective tissue. Allantoin has an anti-inflammatory effect, increases tissue metabolism and stimulates cell proliferation. Dexpanthenol improves the absorption of heparin, stimulates granulation and epithelialization of tissues. Essential oils have an antiseptic and analgesic effect.

Indication

Thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, varicose veins; trophic ulcers of the lower leg; injuries, tendovaginitis; infiltrate; lymphangiitis; mastitis; furunculosis; carbunculosis.

Application

A layer of ointment is applied to the affected area of the skin (a strip of ointment 5 cm long) 1-3 times a day. For diseases of the veins, bandages with ointment are applied. For varicose ulcers, the ointment is applied in the form of a ring about 4 cm wide. For boils and carbuncles, a gauze compress with ointment is applied 2 times a day.

The gel is applied to the affected areas several times a day, rubbing in with light massaging movements from bottom to top.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, leg ulcer.

Side effects

Allergic reactions are possible (skin rash, angioedema, urticaria).

Special instructions

If an allergic reaction occurs, the use of the drug should be discontinued.

The drug should not be applied to infected areas of the skin, open wounds, and the gel should not be applied to mucous membranes.

Storage conditions

At a temperature of 15-25 °C.
