Composition
active ingredient: biclothymol;
1 bottle contains biclotimol 750 mg;
Excipients: benzyl alcohol, disodium edetate, ammonium glycyrrhizinate, star anise oil, sodium saccharin, microcrystalline cellulose, soy lecithin, glycerin, ethanol 95%, purified water, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E 218).
Pressure-generating gas: nitrogen.

Antiseptic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory agent.
Biclotymol is a phenol derivative with antibacterial activity against staphylococci, streptococci, micrococci and corynebacteria. It coagulates microbial cell proteins. It also has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
The drug is absorbed through the mucous membranes very slowly, which ensures its long-term presence in the oral cavity.
Indication
Local symptomatic treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and nasopharynx: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, aphthous stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity. Children under 2.5 years of age (due to the risk of developing laryngospasm).
Interaction with other drugs and other types of interactions.

Application features
Use of the drug for more than 5 days may cause disruption of the homeostasis of the normal microflora of the oral cavity with the risk of spreading bacterial or fungal infection. Simultaneous use of other antiseptic agents should be avoided, as undesirable interactions (antagonism, inactivation) are possible.
In case of deterioration of the condition, in particular an increase in temperature, or if there is no improvement within 5 days, it is necessary to re-examine the patient and change the treatment tactics.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Adequate and well-controlled studies of the safety of the drug during pregnancy or breastfeeding have not been conducted.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
No effect.
Method of administration and doses
Apply topically. When irrigating the oral cavity, the bottle should be held in an upright position. The bottle should be shaken before use.
For adults and children aged 2.5 years and over.
Adults and children over 2.5 years of age: 2 injections 3 times a day.
Treatment is limited to 5 days.
Children
The drug is not used in children under 2.5 years of age.

Dermatological disorders
Very rare: allergic disorders - swelling of the lips, urticaria, skin rash, erythema, angioedema.
Due to the content of methyl parahydroxybenzoate and soy lecithin in the preparation, allergic reactions may develop in certain groups of patients.
