HIALO4 PLUS cream is a preparation for external use containing the sodium salt of hyaluronic acid as the main component.

Active ingredients

Hyaluronic acid is a biological polysaccharide (glycosaminoglycan) found in the extracellular matrix of most tissues. Several studies have confirmed that it can participate in many different tissue repair processes, promoting healing and re-epithelialization. Due to its hydrophilic properties, it provides a moist environment in the wound, which is necessary for the natural healing process.

Silver sulfadiazine is a well-known antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of almost all pathogenic bacteria and fungi in vitro.

Indications for use

For the treatment of skin lesions, especially those at high risk of infection. In particular, it is indicated for application to acute and chronic wounds (first and second degree burns, trophic and metabolic ulcers and pressure sores), as well as to ensure wound moisture and free of microorganisms.

It can be used for non-infected wounds to prevent re-infection, as well as after successful treatment of infected wounds to prevent re-infection.

Contraindication

Do not use in patients with known individual intolerance to the product components, hepatic or renal insufficiency, or glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency.

Do not use in pregnant women and children.

Method of application

Clean the wound before each use. Apply a thin layer of cream to the wound surface once or twice a day, depending on the severity of the wound, until it is completely healed. Long-term treatment for a month should be carried out under the supervision of a doctor, taking into account the clinical dynamics of the lesion. The areas to which the cream is applied should be covered with a sterile bandage.
