Special hydrocolloid wound dressing (sterile) HYDROCOLL thin for lightly exuding wounds.

Hydrocolloid is an absorbent, self-adhering hydrocolloid dressing with a semi-permeable top layer that prevents the penetration of microorganisms and water. Upon contact with wound exudate, the hydrocolloid turns into a gel, thereby forming a moist wound environment that stimulates granulation and epithelialization processes. Available in five different sizes.

For moist therapy of clinically uninfected wounds with light to moderate exudation; especially for wounds with poor healing tendency and delayed granulation tissue formation, e.g. venous trophic ulcers or pressure sores; 2nd degree burns.
