Hygrometer VIT-2 (+ 15 + 40)

Used to measure relative humidity and temperature.
Dimensions mm: 290x120x50.
Used to measure relative humidity and temperature in storage rooms, material rooms, silk stores, greenhouses, poultry houses. Such devices can be found in museums, hospitals, public places, basements, vegetable stores, warehouses and other places where strict control of relative humidity is required.
Psychrometric hygrometers VIT-1 and VIT-2 consist of a plastic base on which two thermometers with a scale, a psychrometric table and a glass bulb are fixed. The thermometer tank with the inscription "Moisturizes" is moistened with water from the feeder using a cambric or chiffon wick.
The method of measuring relative humidity with a psychrometric hygrometer is based on the relationship between air humidity and the psychrometric difference - the difference between the readings of the "dry" and "wet" thermometers that are in thermodynamic equilibrium with the environment.
Take the thermometer readings and determine the difference in readings. Then use the reading of the "dry" thermometer and the difference between the readings of the "dry" and "wet" thermometers to determine the relative humidity of the air from the psychrometric table.
The inspection interval of the VIT-2 hygrometer is 1 year.
Relative humidity measurement range depending on temperature, °C | Scale interval | Dry bulb temperature measurement range, °C | Relative humidity measurement range, %. |
+26...+40 | 0.2 | +15...+40 | 20...90 |
Safety requirements
When working with a hygrometer, it is prohibited to:
do not subject the hygrometer to sharp impacts both during installation and operation; do not wipe the thermometer scale and psychrometric table with solvents, acids and other similar liquids; do not overheat the hygrometer thermometers above 45°C. Overheating destroys the thermometer tank. Structure and principle of operation of the psychrometric device VIT-2The Vit-2 psychrometric hygrometer consists of a plastic base with two thermometers with a scale, a psychrometric table and a glass feeder. The thermometer container with the inscription "Moisturizes" is moistened with water from the feeder using a cambric or chiffon wick.
The method of measuring relative humidity using the VIT-2 psychrometric hygrometer is based on the relationship between air humidity and the psychrometric difference - the difference between the readings of the "dry" and "wet" thermometers that are in thermodynamic equilibrium with the environment.
Take the thermometer readings and, after correcting their readings, determine the difference in the thermometer readings. Then take the readings of the "dry" thermometer and the difference between the readings of the "dry" and "wet" thermometers and determine the relative humidity of the air using the psychrometric table.
