Hypromellose-P eye drops 0.5% dropper container 10 ml

Hypromelose-P eye drops - a tear fluid substitute (sterile solution in a 10 ml bottle) provides quick relief from minor eye irritation of non-infectious origin, relieves the feeling of "dry eyes". Increases the viscosity of the fluid, which leads to slower outflow and increased contact time with the cornea.

The drug has high astringent properties, covers the cornea and the entire surface of the anterior parts of the eye and moisturizes them, preventing drying out, i.e. Hypromellose together with sodium chloride are used as an artificial tear. Hypromellose-P also contains vitamin B dexpanthenol, which is easily oxidized in cells and converted to pantothenic acid. This acid, as a component of coenzyme-A, participates in the full cycle of biologically important metabolic processes, is necessary for the formation and regeneration of skin and tissues, and promotes accelerated epithelialization of the cornea.

Indications for use

Dry eye syndrome, Sjögren's syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), small corneal erosions, conditions after eye surgery; to relieve itching and discomfort in the eyes with normal eye irritation due to wind, dust, smoking, air pollution, contact lens use, etc.; eye strain caused by continuous reading, driving, watching television or using a computer.

Dosage and use

The dose and duration of treatment depend on the severity of the disease. As a rule, 1-2 drops of the drug should be instilled into the conjunctival sac of the eye 2-3 times a day. If necessary, 1-2 drops can be dripped every hour. To instill the drops, unscrew the protective cap, tilt your head back slightly, turn the plastic container upside down and, squeezing the container, inject the required number of drops into the conjunctival sac. Do not touch the eye or eyelashes during administration.

Side effects: Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions to the drug may occur, such as itching, hyperemia, eye irritation, and clumping of eyelashes.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; eye burns with toxic substances in the acute phase, until the substance that caused the burn and the affected tissues are completely removed from the conjunctival sac.

Overdose

If the recommended treatment regimen is followed, overdose is practically impossible. No side effects are expected in adults or children if the eye drops are accidentally swallowed once.

Storage conditions

Store out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25°C in the original packaging. Do not freeze. Do not use the product after the expiry date on the packaging. Close the container immediately after each dose.

Expiration date

2 years.

The shelf life after opening the original packaging is 30 days.
