Hypromellose-Pharmex – eye drops to moisturize the mucous membrane of the eye.

Active ingredients

Hypromellose-Pharmex is a clear, colorless, sterile solution containing dextran 70 and hypromellose (hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), a water-soluble polymer system (DUASORB) in combination with natural tears, which provide moisture to the cornea of the eye.

Indications for use

Moisturizing the anterior surface of the eye in cases of dry eye, including keratoconjunctivitis and Sjögren's syndrome, and preventing complications associated with these conditions.

Temporary relief of burning and irritation caused by dry eyes and protection against further irritation.

Temporary relief of discomfort caused by minor eye irritation or exposure to wind or sun.

Contraindication

Do not use the drug if you are hypersensitive to dextran 70, hypromellose, or any component of the drug.

If the patient experiences headache, eye pain, change in visual acuity, eye irritation or persistent redness, or if the condition worsens or remains unchanged for more than 3 days, discontinue use.

Instructions for use

It is recommended to wash your hands before injection.

If necessary, instill 1-2 drops of the drug into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s).

In case of concomitant therapy with other topical ophthalmic agents, an interval of 5 minutes should be observed between their use.

Rules for preparing a medical preparation

Wash your hands before using the product. Remove the individually wrapped bottle and dropper cap from the packaging. Remove the cap from the individually wrapped pipette. Remove the cap and cap from the bottle. Attach the pipette cap to the bottle. If necessary, invert the bottle with the attached dropper cap until drops appear. During use, do not allow the pipette cap to contact the surface of the eye.
