IGAR 23G Butterfly Injection Catheter

The Igar butterfly catheter is suitable for intravenous administration of medications and for short-term puncture of small peripheral veins (up to 6 hours).

Advantages

The wings are located at a slight angle, which provides less pressure on the blood vessel. The flexible tube significantly reduces the risk of twisting and tearing during infusion. Due to the flexibility of the tube, the needle does not move during manipulations with the tube, which minimizes the risk of mechanical damage to the vessel wall. The transparency of the tube allows you to easily observe its contents. The precisely machined needle tip with a ground bevel provides the most gentle injection of fluid with minimal tissue damage.

Consists of a needle, wings, flexible tube and cannula with a protective cap. Wings provide effective fixation and easy insertion into the vein. Short needle with particularly precise surface grinding. Long tube allows other procedures to be performed away from the puncture site. Protective cap provides additional convenience for multiple infusions. ISO coding: needle diameter is marked on the wings for easy size identification. Sterilized with ethylene oxide. Individual sterile blister packaging.

Duration of use (retention in the body): 24-72 hours (up to 3 days).
