IGAR 25G Butterfly Injection Catheter

The butterfly catheter is also very often used in veterinary medicine.

Quality - the precisely machined needle tip with a sharpened bevel provides the most gentle injection of fluid with minimal tissue damage. Due to the flexibility of the tube, the needle does not move during manipulations with the tube, which minimizes the risk of mechanical damage to the vessel wall. The flexible tube significantly reduces the risk of twisting and tearing the infusion tube. The wings are slightly inclined, which provides less pressure on the blood vessel.

Characteristics

Consists of a needle, wings, flexible tube and cannula with a protective cap. Wings provide effective fixation and easy insertion into the vein. Short needle with particularly precise surface grinding reduces trauma to the vein. Long transparent tube allows for other procedures to be performed away from the puncture site and to monitor its contents. Protective cap provides additional convenience during repeated infusions.
