Composition
active ingredients: 1 g of ointment contains larch turpentine - 54 mg, turpentine oil - 72 mg, eucalyptus oil - 12 mg;
excipients: white soft paraffin, yellow wax, stearic acid, oleic acid, polysorbate 20, rosemary oil, thyme oil, copper complex of chlorophylls (E 141), thymol.
Dosage form
Ointment.
Main physicochemical properties: light green, transparent, homogeneous ointment with a characteristic odor of essential oils and turpentine oil.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics.
Ilon® Classic is a herbal medicine that promotes blood supply to the affected area of the skin, relieves inflammation and has a disinfectant effect. The ointment promotes the maturation and rupture of the abscess, while the pus is completely extracted, which prevents the encapsulation of purulent inflammation media that are not completely emptied.
Pharmacokinetics.
Pharmacokinetic studies have not been conducted.
Indication
Treatment of moderate, localized purulent inflammations of the skin, such as abscesses, boils, purulent nodules, inflammation of hair follicles and sweat glands.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to essential oils or to any other components of the medicinal product.
Contraindicated in children with a history of seizures (which may or may not be associated with fever).
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
To date, there have been no reports of any interactions.
Application features
The medicinal product contains butylhydroxytoluene (E 321). Therefore, it should be borne in mind that the product may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis) or irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.
When using Ilon® Classic ointment, make sure that the ointment does not get into or near the eyes. Hands should be washed thoroughly after using the ointment.
The use of the ointment should be limited to indications. Do not use Ilon® Classic ointment to treat fresh wounds and skin rashes.
In case of worsening of skin inflammation (increased area of redness, swelling, pain) or general condition (fever), or if no improvement has occurred, the patient should consult a doctor.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Ilon® Classic is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, as studies of the drug's effects on the reproductive system, the course of pregnancy, and the condition of the fetus/child have not been conducted.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Method of administration and doses
A medicine for topical use.
Clean the affected area thoroughly with alcohol or other disinfectant before application. Avoid any pressure on the affected area of skin. Depending on the area of skin inflammation, apply a strip of ointment 2–3 cm long and cover the wound with a bandage. The bandage should be changed daily.
Children under 6 years of age are not recommended to use Ilon® Classic ointment.
Duration of use.
For a successful treatment result, it may be necessary to use Ilon® Classic ointment for at least 3 days. If symptoms persist for more than 3 days while using the medicine, you should consult a doctor.

Overdose
There have been no reports of overdose of the drug.
Side effects
In rare cases, allergic reactions (itching, swelling, redness of the skin, rash, burning sensation) are possible, which disappear after discontinuation of the drug Ilon® Classic, ointment.
If any side effects occur, the patient should consult a doctor.
