The Galmed pediatric feeding catheter (tube) is intended for enteral nutrition and drug administration. It can be used in neonatology, pediatrics and adult patients.

Catheters are made of neutral polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which allows them to be used for up to three weeks without deterioration of their properties in the absence of allergic reactions. The rounded, soft end of the catheter provides easy, atraumatic and painless insertion. The presence of side holes at the end of the catheter contributes to the most complete flow of nutrient mixtures and medicinal solutions into the stomach, sufficient drainage of the stomach and reduces the risk of dumping syndrome. The connector with a sealed plug prevents fluid leakage and prevents infection of the catheter contents. The catheter connector has an adapter, thanks to which the catheter is compatible with two types of connecting devices: Luer and catheter-type (with standard volume syringes, large volume syringes, automatic dosing devices). Convenient catheter marking: a radiopaque strip along the entire length of the catheter makes it easier to determine the position of the catheter in the gastrointestinal tract; - The catheter has a centimeter scale starting at 5 cm from the distal end for precise catheter positioning.
