Description

The BD Venflon peripheral intravenous catheter with injection port and valve is intended for catheterization of peripheral veins.

Appointment

The BD Venflon intravenous catheter allows for bolus administration of drugs during infusion through the port.

Advantages

The beveled needle and tapered tip of the polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) catheter simplify the insertion procedure and minimize the risk of vein damage.

The presence of wings reduces the risk of bacterial infection by eliminating any possibility of direct contact of the back of the catheter cannula with the skin.

Features

For optimal fixation to the skin, it is recommended to use BD Veca-C fixation dressings.

Compatible with BD Luer-Lok.
