Description

Intestiphage Bacteriophage Polyvalent is an antibacterial agent.

Treatment and prevention of diseases such as:

shigellosis; salmonellosis; dysbacteriosis; enterocolitis, colitis of infectious nature, mixed etiology.

Warehouse

active ingredient: 1 ml of the drug contains specific bacteriophages at a concentration of at least 1×105 phage particles for the following types of microorganisms: Shigella flexneri, Shigella sonnei, Salmonella enterica, Escherichia coli, Proteus vulgaris, Proteus mirabilis, Enterococcus faecalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa; excipients: sodium chloride; magnesium chloride hexahydrate; sodium hydroxide; diluted hydrochloric acid; water for injection.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Method of application

The drug is intended for internal (oral) use.

For therapeutic purposes, the bacteriophage is taken orally 4 times a day 1 hour before meals. Duration of treatment is 7-10 days. Recommended dosage of the drug for oral administration

from 2 to 6 months - 5 ml; from 6 to 12 months - 10 ml from 1 to 3 years - 15 ml; from 3 to 8 years - 20 ml; from 8 years - 30 ml.

Safety and efficacy have not been established, so use is contraindicated.

The drug is intended for use in children aged 2 months and older.

The use of the drug does not affect the reaction speed when driving or working with other mechanisms.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C in the original packaging. After the first opening of the bottle, storage is possible for no more than 10 days at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C. Transportation is allowed at a temperature not higher than 25 °C for no more than 30 days, then the drug is stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 °C.
