Appointment

The BD Venflon intravenous catheter allows for bolus administration of medication during infusion through the port.

Advantages

The beveled needle and tapered polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) catheter tip facilitate insertion and minimize the risk of vein damage. Caps reduce the risk of bacterial infection by preventing direct skin-to-skin contact at the back of the catheter.
