Features

The catheter is made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE Teflon), which: is compatible with biological media and drugs, is resistant to thrombosis due to the smoothness of the wall; ensures the thin-walledness of the catheter while maintaining its strength (the catheter does not break, there is no risk of catheter embolism). The catheter has a pointed end and fits tightly to the steel needle, which reduces friction during puncture and insertion of the catheter and provides minimal pain when advancing it into the vein. Special sharpening of the guide needle in the form of an angular cut of the tip ensures atraumaticity (no perforation of the wall of the opposite vessel during venipuncture) and guarantees successful manipulation by medical personnel. The optimal cut (distance between the catheter and the beginning of the needle tip) ensures safe placement of the catheter and the absence of complications ("accordion formation" during short retention or puncture of the vein without a catheter during long retention). The absence of an injection port, which eliminates the risk of hydrostatic shock when administering fluid and mechanical injury to the vein. A transparent visualization chamber (reverse flow chamber) with a magnifying glass effect provides visual confirmation of successful puncture. Elastic catheter wings: fixed with a removable holder, which allows easy gripping of the catheter, which facilitates the insertion of the catheter into the vein, ensures catheter stability, the correct angle of insertion into the vein and the location of the catheter fixation on the patient's body. The product is manufactured using latex-free technology, safe, hypoallergenic. The product is packaged in a plastic blister, which is closed with a TUVEC cap - resistant to damage in wet and dry places; labeled in accordance with the requirements of the European standard.
