Invitol capsules No. 30

"Invitol" capsules are used as a source of biologically active substances for the correction of conditions accompanied by or caused by dishormonal disorders in women and men, including proliferative and hyperplastic processes. "Invitol" capsules as an additional source of indole-3-carbinol, epigallocatechin-3-gallate and curcumin are recommended for use in conditions accompanied by or caused by dishormonal disorders in women and men. Conditions associated with changes in the level and activity of sex hormones primarily include diseases of the mammary glands, endometrium and other diseases of the reproductive system.
The metabolism of the main ingredients is closely related to the metabolism of estrogens in the human body. The use of indole-3-carbinol and epigallocatechin-3-gallate in women is advisable if it is necessary to normalize the balance of their own hormones, especially estrogens. In men, indole-3-carbinol, epigallocatechin-3-gallate and curcumin may be especially desirable in cases of impaired testosterone metabolism and hormonal imbalance.
Active ingredients
Indole-3-carbinol
Indole-3-carbinol is converted in the human body to indole complex, which has free radical scavenging and detoxification potential. Indole-3-carbinol is extremely important in ensuring the necessary maintenance of estrogen balance and plays an important role in supporting female reproductive health. Most indole-3-carbinol is converted to diindolylmethane (DIM). Studies have shown that DIM selectively binds to estrogen receptors and can act as an estrogen antagonist. Indole-3-carbinol is particularly advantageous when it is necessary to stimulate estrogen metabolism, namely to regulate the amount of the active but not the inactive form. Studies have shown that indole-3-carbinol supplementation may be associated with a reduction in the incidence of breast and reproductive system diseases. DIM inhibits the growth of estrogen-sensitive cells in the breast and cervix. DIM increases the sensitivity of some types of cancer cells to anticancer therapy.
In men, indole-3-carbinol, by binding to estrogen receptors, is particularly relevant in connection with the need to regulate proliferation and hyperplasia, which are a consequence of hormonal imbalance. Hormonally mediated processes of proliferation and hyperplasia are the main pathological mechanisms of the development of diseases such as chronic bacterial prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and loss of fertility.
Indole-3-carbinol is very relevant when an antiproliferative tissue response is needed (including cases of cancer cell growth and proliferation), chronic inflammation, and cell damage by the human papillomavirus.
Green tea extract
Green tea extract contains polyphenols, catechins and flavonoids. The complex of bioactive substances in green tea extract is used for detoxification of the body and is important for weight loss. Green tea is a source of antioxidant polyphenols, especially epigallocatechin-3-gallate, which due to its biochemical profile is important for supporting cellular metabolism and stimulating immune functions regarding proliferation and metaplasia. Epigallocatechin-3-gallate is also known to be desirable for ensuring positive function of the cardiovascular system. Green tea extract is very suitable for the treatment of myomatosis and mastopathy in cystic fibrosis.
From the point of view of immunomodulation, epigallocatechin-3-gallate is relevant when it is necessary to enhance the expression of immunoglobulin E receptors and is suitable for restoring the balance of T-lymphocytes of the Th1 and Th2 subtypes.
Turmeric extract
Curcumin, which is the main component of turmeric extract, is relevant in inflammation, hyperplasia, metaplasia and malignancy due to its potential on physiological parameters of the cell cycle. Curcumin is important in the context of antioxidant and hepatoprotective needs of the body. Curcumin may be especially desirable when it is necessary to enhance the effect of anticancer drugs used to treat breast cancer, colorectal cancer, bladder cancer.
