Pharmacological properties

Irikar contains a natural active ingredient from the tropical liana cardiospermum halicacabum (cardiospermum), which helps to improve the symptoms of inflammatory skin diseases accompanied by itching, such as neurodermatitis, allergic skin reactions and occupational eczema. First of all, a rapid decrease in the severity of itching is noted after a short period of use of the drug. Under the influence of the drug Irikar, redness, swelling and inflammation disappear. Later, thickening of the skin and peeling caused by continuous scratching, such as eczema, also disappear.

Indication

Eczema, neurodermatitis, dry skin with itching, as well as symptomatic treatment after insect bites.

Application

Adults and children over 1 year of age apply Irikar ointment to the affected areas of the skin with a thin layer, lightly rubbing in, 3 times a day. The drug is well tolerated, so it can be used for a long time. If after 1-2 weeks of treatment with the drug there is no positive therapeutic effect, the patient should consult a doctor.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Hypersensitivity reactions to individual components of the drug, skin irritation, contact dermatitis.

Special instructions

When using homeopathic medicines, a temporary initial deterioration of the condition is possible. In this case, the patient should stop taking the medicine and consult a doctor.

In case of prolonged course of the disease or unclear, new complaints or severe inflammation of the skin, purulent skin lesions, it is necessary to consult a doctor regarding further use of the drug. Contact with eyes, mucous membranes and open wounds should be avoided. Hands should be washed after applying the ointment. Irikar contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause skin irritation.

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The drug during pregnancy and lactation should be used only after a careful assessment by a doctor of the benefit to the mother / risk to the fetus (child).

Children: Due to insufficient clinical data, the drug is not recommended for use in children under 1 year of age.
