Composition
active ingredient: dry ivy leaf extract;
1 ml of syrup contains 7 mg of dry ivy leaf extract (Hedera helix L.) (5–7.5:1) (extractant – 30% ethanol);
excipients: sorbitol, potassium sorbate, apple pectin, "Cherry" flavoring, purified water.
Dosage form
Syrup.
Main physicochemical properties: light brown, slightly cloudy liquid with a sweet-
with a fruity taste and cherry smell.

Pharmacological properties
Pharmacodynamics
A herbal preparation. It contains dry ivy leaf extract, which has expectorant, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial effects due to the glycosides (saponins) present in it. It reduces the viscosity of phlegm and facilitates its discharge.
Pharmacokinetics
Not studied.
Indication
- Acute inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract accompanied by cough;
- symptomatic treatment of chronic inflammatory diseases of the bronchi.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug or other plants of the Araliaceae family. Children under 2 years of age - due to the risk of worsening respiratory symptoms.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions
Concomitant use with antitussives, such as codeine or dextromethorphan, is not recommended without consulting a doctor.
Application features
If you are concerned about shortness of breath, increased body temperature, or purulent sputum, you should consult a doctor.
Use with caution in patients with gastritis or stomach ulcers.
Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to lack of sufficient data.
Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms
There have been no reports of the effects of ivy syrup on the ability to drive a car or use other mechanical devices.
Method of administration and doses
Children aged 2 to 6 years – 2.5 ml of syrup* (½ teaspoon) 3 times a day.
Children aged 6 to 10 years – 5 ml of syrup* (1 teaspoon) 3 times a day.
Adults and children over 10 years old – 5–7.5 ml of syrup* (1–1½ teaspoons) 3 times a day.
The syrup should be used morning, afternoon and evening. Shake the syrup thoroughly before each use!
The duration of treatment is determined by the doctor individually. In mild cases, the duration of treatment is 7 days. To achieve a stable therapeutic effect, it is recommended to continue therapy for another 2–3 days after the patient's condition improves.
If the patient's condition does not improve, a doctor should be consulted for further treatment.

Children.
The drug is contraindicated in children under 2 years of age due to the risk of worsening respiratory symptoms. Use in children 2–4 years of age requires a doctor's recommendation.
Overdose
Overdose may cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and agitation. Treatment is symptomatic.
Adverse reactions
When used, allergic reactions (mainly rashes, etc.), couperose, dyspnea are possible.
Patients with hypersensitivity may experience gastrointestinal disturbances, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and abdominal pain.
Expiration date
3 years.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 ºС.
Keep out of reach of children.
Packaging
100 ml or 200 ml in a glass or polymer bottle in a pack. The bottle can be equipped with a measuring cup.
