Pharmacological properties

Mechanism of action of SUVOVID®:

The anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect is due to the presence of glucoalkaloids that stimulate the synthesis of corticosteroids and apigenin, as well as inhibiting the synthesis of leukotrienes and 5-lipoxygenase and slowing down the biosynthesis of prostaglandins. The chondroprotective effect is manifested in the enhancement of the biosynthesis and activation of the production of glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), preventing chondrocyte degeneration, articular cartilage fibrillation and wear of the articular surface.

Indications for use

It is used for etiopathogenetic therapy of diseases of the musculoskeletal system of an inflammatory, degenerative and post-traumatic nature, accompanied by pain, including:

arthritis of various etiologies; osteoarthritis of the joints; osteochondrosis of the spine; Bechterew's disease; herniated intervertebral discs; rheumatic diseases of soft tissues (bursitis, tendinitis, tendovaginitis); sciatica, lumbago, radiculitis and myositis; Injuries (bruises, sprains).
