Properties
The dietary supplement formula is designed specifically to support women's health. Below are some of the known properties of Juno Farmliga's ingredients, along with scientific studies that support them.
Epigallocatechin gallate from green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) helps maintain optimal metabolism. Here is an overview of its properties, based on data from scientific sources:
Antioxidant properties: EGCG is known for its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. These properties are thought to contribute to a variety of health benefits, including protection against chronic disease and the aging process. (1)
Cardiovascular health: Green tea consumption is associated with a reduced risk of cardiovascular disease. EGCG may help improve lipid metabolism, reduce inflammation, and promote vascular health. (2)
Weight control: EGCG has been studied for its potential role in weight management and obesity prevention. It may increase energy expenditure, fat oxidation, and reduce appetite (3).
Bone health: Some research suggests that EGCG may have positive effects on bone health, including increasing bone mineral density and reducing the risk of osteoporosis. (4)
Breast health: Emerging scientific evidence suggests that EGCG may have protective effects against abnormal breast cell division. (5)
Reproductive health: Green tea and EGCG have been studied for their potential effects on reproductive health, including menstrual cycle regulation and fertility, although more research is needed in this area. (6)
Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus) has been traditionally used to address a variety of women's health concerns and is believed to have a positive effect on hormonal balance. Here is a general overview of its potential properties related to the female reproductive system:
Hormonal regulation: Vitex agnus-castus is thought to affect the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, affecting the balance of reproductive hormones, including prolactin. By modulating hormone levels, it may affect menstrual irregularities and premenstrual symptoms. (7,8)
Prolactin Regulation: Elevated prolactin levels are associated with lactation and breastfeeding. Vitex is thought to help regulate prolactin secretion and may be used to support lactation. Normalizing prolactin levels may help prevent conditions such as mastitis. (8)
Anti-inflammatory properties: Some research suggests that Vitex agnus-castus may have anti-inflammatory effects. In the context of mastitis, which often involves inflammation of the breast tissue, these properties may be beneficial. (7,9)
Resveratrol is a polyphenolic compound found in certain plants, such as grapes, red wine, and peanuts. It has been studied for its potential health benefits, including its effects on the female reproductive system. While there is some evidence of positive effects, it is important to note that more research is needed before definitive conclusions can be drawn. Here is a general overview:
Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties: Resveratrol is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In the context of the female reproductive system, these properties may help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, which are factors associated with various reproductive disorders. (10)
Hormone modulation: Some studies suggest that resveratrol may have hormone-modulating effects. It may affect estrogen receptors and estrogen transmission pathways, potentially affecting hormonal balance in the female reproductive system. (11)
Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme derived from the bacterium Serratia marcescens. It has been studied for its diverse biological properties, primarily its anti-inflammatory and fibrinolytic effects (13,14):
Anti-inflammatory properties: Serratiopeptidase is known for its ability to reduce inflammation by modulating the immune response. It may inhibit certain pro-inflammatory mediators, potentially alleviating symptoms associated with inflammatory conditions.
Fibrinolytic activity: The enzyme exhibits fibrinolytic activity, meaning it can break down fibrin, a protein involved in blood clot formation. This property may help improve blood circulation and prevent excessive blood clotting.
Reducing swelling: Serratiopeptidase has been studied for its ability to reduce swelling associated with various inflammatory conditions. This may be beneficial in conditions where excessive fluid retention contributes to tissue damage.
5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) is an amino acid that is a precursor to serotonin, a neurotransmitter that plays an important role in various physiological functions. It can be produced by the body, but it is also available as an extract from the seeds of the Griffonia simplicifolia plant. Here are some key points about 5-HTP (15):
Biological role: 5-HTP is naturally produced in the body from the amino acid tryptophan. It is a step in the synthesis of serotonin. Serotonin is involved in the regulation of mood, appetite, and sleep, among other functions.
Serotonin synthesis: Once in the body, 5-HTP is converted into serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter that promotes feelings of well-being and happiness. Serotonin is also involved in appetite regulation. Maintaining a healthy weight and nutritional status are very important for reproductive health.
Mood and sleep support: Due to its role in serotonin production, 5-HTP has been studied for its potential to support mood and alleviate symptoms of conditions like depression. It may also be considered a sleep aid.
It is important to note that while these studies provide some insight into the potential physiological role of dietary supplement components, understanding their effects on metabolism is still an area of active scientific research.
Please note that these studies are provided for informational purposes only and are not intended to be medical advice. If you are considering taking Juno Farmliga or any other dietary supplement, you should first consult your doctor.
Recommendations for use

The ingredients have synergistic properties, enhance each other's effects and create optimal conditions for maintaining the hormonal balance of the female reproductive system.
Epigallocatechin gallate from green tea leaf extract (Camellia sinensis) helps maintain metabolism at an optimal level.
Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus L) helps maintain female hormonal balance during menopause and the premenstrual period.
5-HTP from Griffonia simplicifolia seeds helps increase healthy serotonin levels, which promotes a positive mood.
Resveratrol – thanks to its antioxidant activity, it helps protect cells (DNA, proteins, and lipids) from oxidative damage caused by free radicals.
