Composition

Active ingredients: SCX-complex (silicon dioxide combined with silver ions and chlorhexidine), kaolin, sodium hyaluronate; excipient: silicon dioxide. Propellant: a mixture of butane and propane.

Properties

CADEFORT® is a powder composition that forms a protective barrier (film) for the treatment of wounds, ulcers, abrasions, minor burns and exudative skin lesions, diaper rash, maceration from sweat and superficial traumatic lesions. CADEFORT® is indicated in the treatment of postoperative wounds and umbilical infection in newborns. CADEFORT® forms a protective barrier layer against the aggressive effects of microbes, which is useful for accelerating healing. The barrier function is implemented through the combination of kaolin and sodium hyaluronate, since both ingredients have a specific effect: kaolin acts as an absorbent, which is important in the presence of exudate, and sodium hyaluronate acts as a polymer that forms a film and provides tissue hydration. Thanks to the antimicrobial properties of the patented SCX complex (silicon dioxide combined with silver ions and chlorhexidine), the barrier created by kaolin and hyaluronic acid is resistant to external aggressive microbial influences, thus increasing protection and helping wounds heal faster.

Method of application

1. Before using the product, cleanse the skin with saline and gently dry it.

2. Shake the can well before use.

3. Apply a thin layer of powder only to the affected area, spraying from a distance of 10 cm (cm).

4. Do not rub: the powder should form a protective continuous layer.

5. Change the dressing once or several times a day when treating diaper rash or submammary erythema, burns, and superficial traumatic injuries; repeat the application of the powder spray every 48 hours if the lesion must be treated by medical personnel.

6. In case of open lesions, use wet gauze as a secondary dressing and a sterile bandage as a covering.

Reservation

For external use only, do not swallow.

Avoid contact with eyes, in case of any contact, rinse immediately with water.

Do not use if the packaging is opened or damaged.

Do not sterilize.

Carefully close the container after use.

Do not use after the expiration date.

Discontinue treatment if abnormal skin reactions occur, and notify the doctor and manufacturer.

No medical personnel are required for use.

Contraindication

No cases of overdose, as well as interactions with other drugs and medical substances have been recorded. No allergic sensitization phenomena have been recorded, but the presence of aluminum dioxide (Al2O3) has been established.

Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the components. Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is recommended under medical supervision.

Application features

Pressurized container: may burst if heated. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures below 5°C or above 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Use only for the intended purpose. Do not point at eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other sources of ignition. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other sources of ignition. For outdoor use only. In case of ingestion or splashing into eyes, seek qualified medical attention or a specialist immediately and show the product information on the label.
