Properties
Vitamin K2 (menaquinone) helps maintain and protect bone tissue, vascular walls and connective tissue. Vitamin K2 is involved in calcium metabolism in the body. When it is lacking in the human diet, the synthesis of the osteocalcin protein deteriorates, which, in turn, reduces bone strength. In the postmenopausal period, bone loss accelerates, so it is especially important for women during this period to maintain the necessary level of vitamin K2 intake to deliver calcium to bone tissue and retain it in the bones. This helps to resist the development of osteopenia, osteoporosis and reduce the risk of fractures. Vitamin K2 helps prevent calcification of blood vessels (calcium deposits on their walls), thereby maintaining their elasticity and reducing the risk of adverse cardiovascular events (for example, heart attack or stroke). Consumption of vitamin K2 prevents the deposition (accumulation) of calcium in the lungs, aorta, heart valves, hyaline cartilage and kidneys. Vitamin K2 prevents the accumulation of excess calcium in the skin, preventing the formation of wrinkles. The intake of vitamin K2 in the human body depends on the state of the gastrointestinal tract. Widespread intestinal dysbiosis, taking antibiotics, chemotherapy, malnutrition, chronic intestinal diseases are the main causes of vitamin K2 deficiency. Unlike some fat-soluble nutrients, vitamin K2 is accumulated by the liver in limited quantities. Therefore, for the normal functioning of the body, a sufficient daily intake of it with food (mainly of animal origin) or dietary supplements is necessary. Vitamin K2 exists in several chemical forms. Menaquinone MK-7 is the most easily absorbed of these forms and provides the best and longest-lasting concentration in the blood, which is important for the correction of vitamin K2 deficiency.

"KADVAN" is recommended as a biologically active dietary supplement as an additional source of vitamin K2 (menaquinone MK-7) to ensure its adequate level in the body and counteract the risks associated with a deficiency of this nutrient.
"KADVAN" is recommended after injuries and fractures, as well as to counteract:
development of osteopenia and osteoporosis, calcium accumulation in the lungs, aorta, heart valve, joints and other internal and soft tissues. formation of gallstones and kidney stones, bleeding, hemorrhages and hematomas on the background of taking anticoagulant drugs.
How to apply
To eliminate vitamin K2 deficiency, take 1 soft capsule daily with meals. The minimum course of administration is 1 month.
On the recommendation of a doctor, the recommended daily dose and the required duration of administration may be changed individually, based on laboratory parameters.
Reservation
It is recommended to consult a doctor before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use the dietary supplement as a substitute for a complete diet. When taking orlistat-based drugs, remember that vitamin K2 is recommended to be taken at least 2 hours after taking orlistat.
