Properties

Karliv is specially designed to enhance energy metabolism and fat breakdown, spermatogenesis. It has hepato- and cardioprotective effects.

L-carnitine is a vitamin-like substance that participates in the metabolism of fatty acids in the Krebs cycle, thereby providing the body with energy. L-carnitine has a lipotropic effect, it participates in the transport of unsaturated fats into mitochondria, where it oxidizes fats and releases energy, thereby reducing subcutaneous fat and, accordingly, body weight. By enhancing the utilization of fatty acids, L-carnitine helps liver cells get rid of accumulated fat, exerting a membrane-protective and lipotropic effect on hepatocytes.

L-carnitine lowers cholesterol levels, thereby improving myocardial metabolism. L-carnitine deficiency can lead to various cardiovascular diseases, a decrease in the rate of lipolysis, and with prolonged deficiency can negatively affect the immune system.
