Klimen tablets as hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for symptoms of pre- and postmenopausal estrogen deficiency.
Composition
Active ingredients: estradiol valerate, cyproterone acetate;
1 white film-coated tablet contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate, 1 pink film-coated tablet contains 2 mg of estradiol valerate and 1 mg of cyproterone acetate;
Excipients: lactose, corn starch, 25, talc, magnesium stearate, sucrose, povidone 90, macrogol 6000, calcium carbonate, montan glycol wax, glycerin 85%, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxide yellow (E 172), iron oxide red (E 172).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients; current or history of breast cancer, or suspected breast cancer; established or suspected estrogen-dependent malignant tumor (including endometrial cancer); genital bleeding of unknown etiology; untreated endometrial hyperplasia; current or past venous thromboembolism (including deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism); established thrombophilic diseases (e.g., protein C, protein S or antithrombin deficiency); current or recent arterial thromboembolism (including angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, stroke); acute liver disease or history of liver disease, as long as liver function tests are not normal; porphyria; pregnancy and breastfeeding; current or past liver tumors (benign or malignant); severe hypertriglyceridemia; otosclerosis with worsening during previous pregnancies; high risk of venous or arterial thromboembolism.Method of application
You should try to take the pills at the same time.
After the first pack is finished, the patient takes a seven-day break in taking the drug, during which bleeding occurs. Tablets from another pack of Klimene should be started 4 weeks after the start of taking the drug, i.e. on the same day of the week, and this regimen should be followed in the future.

Overdose

It is necessary to stop using oral contraceptives when starting therapy with the drug Klimen.
Excessive alcohol consumption while using Klimene may lead to increased estradiol levels.
