Composition

Composition of 1 sachet:

active ingredient: L-tryptophan 500 mg (produced by natural fermentation); additional ingredients: filler: erythritol; anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide; sweetener: steviol glycoside.

Properties

Tryptophan (β-(β-indolyl)-α-aminopropionic acid) is an essential amino acid. The L-stereoisomer is a component of gamma globulins, fibrinogen, casein, and other proteins. Tryptophan is a provitamin.

Tryptophan, as a precursor of serotonin, has an antidepressant effect on the body. It helps relieve hyperactivity and obsessive-compulsive disorders in children, anxiety before menstruation in women, fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. As a precursor of melatonin, it promotes good sleep and normal sleep in both early and old age.

Tryptophan is not synthesized by the human body, but comes from food. The daily requirement for an adult is 0.25 g (3.5 mg/kg body weight[5]), and for children under 7 years of age, 1 g.

Recommendations for use
