Labium Advance cream 5 g

Labium Advans cream is used for herpes on the lips.

Active ingredients

Penciclovir, methyluracil.

Features

The cream should only be applied to the affected areas of the lips or the skin around the mouth. It is not recommended to apply the cream to mucous membranes (e.g. eyes, mouth, nose or genitals).

Special care should be taken to avoid getting the cream in or around the eyes.

If after 4 days of treatment with the cream the symptoms have not disappeared, you should consult a doctor.

Advantages

When using penciclovir triphosphate, it remains in infected cells for more than 12 hours, which is much longer than when using acyclovir.

By blocking the reproduction of the virus, penciclovir significantly reduces healing time, even after the development of papules and vesicles, reduces pain and the duration of the formation of crusts that form during viral exposure, while having virtually no effect on intact cells.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to penciclovir, famciclovir or other components of the drug (e.g. propylene glycol). Do not use in patients with weakened immunity.

Method of application

The cream should be applied every two hours (except during sleep), applying it only to areas of skin affected by herpes.

The course is 4 days.

Wash your hands before applying the cream.
