Composition

Pharmacological properties

Pharmacodynamics.

Biologically active substances of the drug have an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, hemostatic, wound-healing, bacteriostatic effect; enhance the functional activity of the respiratory tract epithelium, promote the secretion and evacuation of mucus from them, reduce coughing; enhance the secretion of gastric juice, increase acidity; contribute to the cleansing of wound and ulcer surfaces from pyogenic bacteria, enhance the processes of granulation of the surfaces of affected tissues.

Indication

Respiratory tract diseases (bronchitis, whooping cough, pneumosclerosis, pulmonary tuberculosis), gastrointestinal diseases (gastritis and gastric ulcer with low acidity, enteritis and enterocolitis) - as part of complex therapy. Externally used as a wound healing agent.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to the biologically active substances of the drug. Hyperacid gastritis, duodenal ulcer and gastric ulcer with increased acidity; increased blood clotting and tendency to thrombosis, reflux esophagitis.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other types of interactions

Do not use simultaneously with antitussives and drugs that reduce sputum production.

Use during pregnancy or breastfeeding

As prescribed by a doctor if the benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus/child.

Ability to influence reaction speed when driving vehicles or other mechanisms

Method of administration and doses

Place 2 tablespoons of leaves in an enameled dish, pour 200 ml of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and infuse in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes. Cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, strain, squeeze the residue to a strained infusion. Bring the volume of the infusion to 200 ml with boiled water. Adults take ⅓ cup warm 3 times a day 10-15 minutes before meals; children aged 1-3 years - 1 teaspoon, 2-5 years - 1 dessert spoon, 5-10 years - 1 tablespoon, 10-14 years - ¼ cup 3 times a day 10-15 minutes before meals.

Place 3 filter bags in a glass or enameled dish, pour 200 ml of boiling water, close and let stand for 15 minutes. Adults should take ½ cup warm 4 times a day 10-15 minutes before meals; children aged 1-3 years - 1 dessert spoon, 3-5 years - 2 dessert spoons, 5-10 years - 2 tablespoons, 10-14 years - ⅓-½ cup 3 times a day 10-15 minutes before meals.

Store the prepared infusion at a temperature of 8-15 °C for no more than 2 days.

Externally – moisten a gauze napkin with the infusion and apply to the affected areas of the skin.

The duration of the course of treatment is determined by the doctor individually.

The drug should be used in children over 1 year of age.

Expiration date
