Levenium is an antiepileptic drug.
Indications for use
partial seizures; myoclonic seizures in adults and children aged 12 years and over with juvenile myoclonic epilepsy.Warehouse

Hypersensitivity to levetiracetam or other pyrrolidone derivatives, as well as to any components of the drug.
Method of application
Tablets should be taken orally, with sufficient liquid, regardless of meals. Divide the daily dose into 2 equal doses.
Monotherapy.
Adults and children aged 16 and over.
Monotherapy in adults and children aged 16 years and over should be initiated at the recommended dose of 500 mg/day (250 mg twice daily) with subsequent dose increases to 1000 mg/day (500 mg twice daily) after 2 weeks. The dose may be increased by 500 mg/day (250 mg twice daily) every 2 weeks, depending on the clinical response. The maximum daily dose is 3000 mg/day (1500 mg twice daily).

Pregnant women
Should not be used during pregnancy unless clearly necessary and in women of childbearing potential not using contraception. Physiological changes during pregnancy may alter levetiracetam concentrations. maternal and fetal.
Breast-feeding
Breastfeeding is not recommended.
Children
The tablet form is not recommended for use in children under 6 years of age. Levetiracetam oral solution is used in children 1 month of age and older and children under 6 years of age.
Drivers
Levetiracetam has minor or moderate influence on the ability to drive and use machines. Due to possible individual sensitivity, some patients may experience drowsiness and dizziness.
Overdose
Symptoms.
