The functional properties of the Libera Fortet dietary supplement are due to the physiological activity of biologically active substances that are part of its active ingredients of plant origin - extract of the stem and leaves of Lespedeza capitata and extract of the leaves of the artichoke (Cynara scolymus).

The extract of the stem and leaves of Lespedeza capitata contains flavonoids, including flavonols - rutin; flavones, catechins and other biologically active substances.

The complex of biologically active substances in the stem and leaves of Lespedeza capitula increases diuresis, reduces azotemia, increases the excretion of sodium and, to a lesser extent, potassium; promotes increased renal filtration, accelerates the excretion of nitrogenous wastes in the urine.

Artichoke leaf extract (Cynara scolymus) contains cynarin, cynaropoikrin, chlorogenic acid, ascorbic acid, carotene, B vitamins, inulin and exhibits choleretic, hepatoprotective, diuretic effects. Studies show that artichoke leaf extract may also have nephroprotective and antioxidant effects, which may be beneficial for patients with renal failure. According to the 2004 protocol for providing medical care to patients with chronic renal failure, artichoke leaf extract is used to reduce azotemia, toxic uremic load on the kidneys. A randomized controlled trial showed that consumption of artichoke leaf extract can improve the lipid profile in patients with chronic renal failure.

On the recommendation of a doctor as a dietary supplement to the diet as an additional source of biologically active substances (flavonoids, including flavonols - rutin; flavones, catechins, as well as cynarin and cynaropicrin), which have a beneficial effect on the functional state of the kidneys.

Method of administration and doses

Adults should take 1 capsule 3 times a day, children aged 12 years and older should take 1 capsule 1-2 times a day, regardless of meals; drink a small amount of drinking water.

The duration of use is determined by the doctor individually, taking into account the nature and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved effect, the susceptibility of the dietary supplement and, as a rule, is 3 months. If necessary, the course of use is repeated on the recommendation of the doctor.

Application features

Regular daily consumption is especially important for normalizing the functional state of the kidneys. It is recommended to use a complete and balanced diet, limit animal fats, sugar, sweets and alcohol.
