Lidoxan Menthol spray is indicated for inflammatory and infectious diseases of the oral cavity and pharynx, accompanied by pain when swallowing and irritation.
Composition
Active ingredients: chlorhexidine digluconate, lidocaine hydrochloride;
1 ml of the drug contains chlorhexidine digluconate 2 mg, lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5 mg;
Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, glycerin, sodium saccharin, menthol; cineole; ethanol 96%; purified water.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the active substances (chlorhexidine or lidocaine) or to any of the excipients of the drug or to local anesthetics of the amide type. Children under 6 years of age. Alcohol dependence.Method of application

Overdose
Chlorhexidine is absorbed from the digestive tract in small quantities. Lidocaine is absorbed faster, but the bioavailability after oral administration is only 35%. Toxic effects of lidocaine occur at plasma concentrations exceeding 6 mg/l. After the use of excessive doses (more than one bottle), swallowing difficulties may occur (decreased control over the swallowing reflex) - in this case, you should immediately consult a doctor. Systemic intoxication occurs due to effects on the central nervous system and cardiovascular system. The first reactions of overdose are damage to the central nervous system.
