Composition
active ingredient: 1 tablet contains 500 mg of purified micronized flavonoid fraction (calculated as 100% anhydrous substance), which contains 450 mg of diosmin (90%) and 50 mg of flavonoids in the form of hesperidin (10%);
excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, copovidone, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, film coating "Wincoat WT-AQ-01121 Yellow".
Properties
Dietary supplement LIOVEN – contains a micronized flavonoid fraction, which consists of 90% diosmin and 10% flavonoids in the form of hesperidin. Diosmin and hesperidin are substances of flavonoid nature, isolated from Ruta aurantiae plants and belong to γ-benzopyrones, which are representatives of the group of biologically active substances – bioflavonoids. The mechanism of action of which is to normalize the structure and function of the vessels of the microcirculatory bed. The mixture of bioflavonoids increases the tone of venous and lymphatic vessels, strengthens the walls of capillaries and improves microcirculation and tissue nutrition, and also contributes to the normalization of peripheral blood circulation and lymphatic outflow from the lower extremities.
The flavonoid substances contained in LIOVEN – diosmin and hesperidin – complement each other's effects. This explains the higher effectiveness of the flavonoid fraction compared to simple diosmin.
One way to improve the absorption of a substance is to reduce the size of its particles, which increases the total area of contact of the substance with the gastrointestinal mucosa and, as a result, absorption. An important feature of LIOVEN, which distinguishes it from other venoactive bioflavonoids, is the micronization of the flavonoid fraction - a special technological treatment that significantly reduces the particles of the active ingredient and ensures a high rate of its absorption in the gastrointestinal tract. The prophylactic concentration of the product in the blood is determined already 4 hours after administration.
LIOVEN helps to increase the tone of veins and accelerate lymphatic transport. With systematic use, LIOVEN helps to reduce the severity of manifestations of chronic venous insufficiency of the lower extremities of organic and functional nature.
Recommendations for use
The dietary supplement LIOVEN is recommended to be added to the diet as an additional source of bioflavonoids, with the aim of generally strengthening the body, normalizing the functioning of blood vessels, improving venous and lymphatic circulation and reducing the feeling of heaviness in the lower extremities, preventing and reducing venous insufficiency of various origins, increasing the tone and improving the elasticity of venous vessels, and normalizing capillary permeability.
It is recommended to consult a doctor before using a dietary supplement.
Method of application
The recommended dose for adults is 2 tablets per day: 1 tablet in the afternoon and 1 tablet in the evening during meals. The tablet should be swallowed with a small amount of drinking water without chewing. After a week of use, you can take 2 tablets per day once during meals.
Course of use: 2 months, then 2 months break. If necessary, the course of use can be repeated 2-3 times a year. Before use, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
Not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age.

Application features
Not recommended for people with individual sensitivity to the components included in the dietary supplement.
The dietary supplement is not used during pregnancy and lactation, or in cases of gastric and duodenal ulcers in the acute stage.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose and do not use as a substitute for a balanced diet. There is limited data on overdose with purified micronized flavonoid fraction. The most common adverse reactions reported in overdose were gastrointestinal reactions (such as diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain) and skin reactions (such as itching, rash).
