Composition
Composition of 1 rectal microenema, 9 ml (ml):
Aqua, Bacillus spp. (Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus licheniformis, Bacillus pumilus) > 5×107 CFU/ml (CFU/ml)), Glycerin, Dexpanthenol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Phenoxyethanol, Xantan Gum.

General properties
Rectal liquid suppository with probiotic Dr. PROCTO is a product based on a unique combination of spore-forming probiotic bacteria of the genus Bacillus spp., panthenol and glycerin, due to the action of which a mild laxative effect occurs combined with the restoration of normal microflora of the colon, reducing its irritation, inflammatory processes and discomfort in the pelvic area.
The complex of probiotic components SPP has a systemic effect on the mucosa of the large intestine, combining the normalization of microflora, reduction of inflammation, elimination of reflex spasm and pain. Bacillus spp. have antibacterial action against a wide range of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microflora: Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus mirabilis, etc. This effect is achieved due to antagonistic activity and synthesis of specific antibacterial substances bacillomycin D, surfactin, bacillen, plantazolicin and specific proteases. The effect of the complex of probiotic components SPP on Candida albicans is due to the ability to quickly compete for the environment and displace fungi, on the one hand, and the effect of specific agents on the cell membrane of the fungal cell, which leads to its destruction. In vitro studies have proven the effect of Bacillus spp. on the suspension of enterovirus replication.
After the introduction of Dr. PROCTO, Bacillus spp. strains multiply rapidly and form a probiotic biofilm, which performs a protective function of the intestinal mucosa and increases the growth of normal microflora - Bifidobacteria, Lactobacillus.
The complex of probiotic components SPP helps reduce inflammatory processes by enhancing nonspecific and specific immunity, the barrier function of the mucosa, the activation of macrophages, T and B lymphocytes, the synthesis of immunoglobulins A and M, interleukin-6 and γ-interferon. They have a local regenerating effect on the mucosa of the colon.
Panthenol stimulates the restoration of the mucous membrane, prevents the appearance of cracks, normalizes cellular metabolism, and has an anti-inflammatory and regenerative effect on mechanical damage.
Glycerin has a mild irritating effect on the mucous membrane of the rectum, which reflexively stimulates its motor activity, helps soften stools and helps them pass more quickly and painlessly.
Long-term use of Dr. PROCTO does not lead to addiction and weakening of its effect.
Indication
If necessary, Dr. PROCTO rectal liquid suppositories can be used for the following purposes:
elimination of periodic and chronic constipation;
getting rid of discomfort in the colon area: spasm, pain, feeling of heaviness;
enhancing the effect of oral laxatives.
As prescribed by a doctor, as part of a comprehensive treatment of intestinal diseases and conditions, Dr. PROCTO rectal liquid suppositories are used for:
preparation of the intestine for endoscopic and radiological examinations;
conditions that require relief of defecation (hemorrhoids, anal fistulas, fissures, after operations on the colon and anorectal area);
postoperative atonic constipation (intestinal atony) and pain syndrome after removal of hemorrhoids;
irritable bowel syndrome in patients with diabetes;
restoration of microflora after or against the background of chemotherapy or the use of antibiotics;
Sanitation of the lower intestine to prevent recurrence of fungal diseases (Candida albicans) of the urogenital system. In women, it would be advisable to prescribe UnikaURO together with vaginal micro-enemas;
to enhance the effect of oral probiotic drugs, such as Remedium (oral suspension);
complex treatment of prostate diseases (symptoms of LUTS, BPH, prostatitis of bacterial and non-bacterial etiology);
complex treatment of nonspecific ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
Method of application and duration
Rectal microclyster Dr. PROCTO is used for adults and children from 3 years of age.
Rectal micro-enema Dr. PROCTO is completely ready to use. Before use, wash your hands with soap and water. Break off the cap. Moisten the tip of the micro-enema with water or apply a lubricant gel. Carefully insert the micro-enema into the rectum in a comfortable position, preferably lying on your left side. Press on the micro-enema and wait for the contents to be completely inserted. Do not change position for 15 minutes.
It is advisable to use Dr. PROCTO rectal micro-enema in the evening before bedtime, once a day, at the same time.
Dr. PROCTO rectal micro-enema is also advisable to use as needed.
Dr. PROCTO rectal micro-enemas can be used long-term or in a certain course as prescribed by a doctor.
