Lisinopril-H is a combined drug with a fixed dose of lisinopril, an ACE inhibitor (ACE inhibitor), and hydrochlorothiazide, a thiazide diuretic. Indications for use - arterial hypertension of mild or moderate severity, has a stable course against the background of therapy with lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide in the same dosages.

Method of application

The use of a combined drug with a fixed dose is not suitable for the beginning of therapy. The combined drug with a fixed dose can replace the combination of 10 mg or 20 mg of lisinopril and 12.5 mg of hydrochlorothiazide for patients whose condition has been stabilized on the background of therapy with individual active substances in the same dosages that were prescribed in the form of individual drugs. The usual dose is 1 tablet once a day. Like any other medicine that is taken once a day, Lisinopril-N should be taken at approximately the same time every day.

If it is not possible to achieve the desired therapeutic effect within 2-4 weeks of treatment, the dose can be increased to 2 tablets once a day.

Pregnant women

The drug is contraindicated for pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant.

Children

The drug is used in children, since the safety and effectiveness of the drug in children (age up to 18 years) have not been established.

Drivers

Due to the development of side reactions, especially at the beginning of therapy, the drug may slightly or moderately affect the speed of the reaction, so you should refrain from driving vehicles or other mechanisms.

Overdose

Lisinopril.

Symptoms: arterial hypotension, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure, circulatory shock, hyperventilation, tachycardia, rapid heartbeat, bradycardia, dizziness, restlessness and cough.

Hydrochlorothiazide.

Symptoms caused by the elimination of electrolytes (hypokalemia, hypochloremia, hyponatremia) and dehydration due to excessive use of diuretics are most often observed: convulsions, paresis; renal failure, depression of consciousness, including coma.

Side effects

From the blood side: lymphadenopathy, anemia, agranulocytosis, depression of bone marrow function, hemolytic anemia, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, autoimmune diseases;

From the side of the cardiovascular system: palpitations, tachycardia, arterial hypotension (including orthostatic hypotension), cerebral circulation disorders, Raynaud's phenomenon, myocardial infarction or stroke, possibly due to severe arterial hypotension in high-risk patients;

On the part of the psyche: mood changes, sleep disturbance, confusion of consciousness, disorientation;
