Lizobact Reno nasal spray is a 1.85% hypertonic solution containing lysozyme.
Active ingredients
In addition to sodium chloride, the following excipients, namely propylene glycol, methylparaben, sodium edetate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, contribute to increasing osmolarity (tonicity).
Thanks to the natural mechanism of osmosis, Lysobact Rino removes excess fluid from the swollen nasal mucosa and tissues and thins the thick secretion in the nasal cavity. The spray also moisturizes and protects the normal nasal mucosa in conditions of increased dryness (increases nasal secretion).
Lysozyme is a natural substance found in body fluids, such as nasopharyngeal secretions, tears, and saliva. Lysozyme has a local anti-inflammatory effect, increases the body's nonspecific resistance, and is effective against bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Lizobact Rino nasal spray accelerates epithelial motility and stimulates mucociliary transport, helping to cleanse the nasal cavity of secretions, dust, dirt, crusts, allergens and infectious agents.
Advantages
Reduces swelling of the nasal mucosa and relieves nasal congestion; thins thick secretions in the nasal cavity; cleanses the nasal cavity of mucus, dust, dry accumulations, crusts, allergens and infectious agents; moisturizes the nasal mucosa in conditions of extreme dryness; helps restore the normal functional state of the nasal mucosa.
Indications for use
Nasal spray Lizobact Reno is recommended for:
for nasal congestion accompanied by difficulty breathing in acute and respiratory diseases (infectious rhinosinusitis), allergic rhinitis; in cases where classic decongestants are contraindicated (e.g., high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes); for daily nasal hygiene (e.g., in a polluted environment); to moisturize the nasal mucosa (e.g., in air-conditioned rooms or with heating that dries the air).
Application features
Lizobact Rino nasal spray maintains the physiological state of the nasal mucosa and does not have a systemic effect; it is suitable for use in children from 1 year of age. Use in children is permitted only under adult supervision.
Lizobact Rhino nasal spray is intended for use in the nasal cavity only. For hygiene reasons and to reduce the risk of infection, it is recommended that one bottle of spray be used by one person.
Using Lizobact Rino nasal spray during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
There is currently no information on the possible harmful effects of Lizobact Rino nasal spray during pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should consult a doctor before use.
Contraindication
Lysobact Reno should not be used by persons with hypersensitivity (allergy) to at least one of its components, as well as persons with hypersensitivity (allergy) to egg protein.
Method of application
Dosage.
Adults and children over 5 years of age: 1-2 sprays in each nostril 2-3 times a day; Children 1 to 5 years of age: 1 spray in each nostril 2-3 times a day.
With each press, the nebulizer dispenses 0.14 milliliters (mL) of solution (one bottle contains at least 200 doses).
Before each use of Lizobact Rino nasal spray, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the nasal passages.
Remove the protective cap. Hold the spray bottle with three fingers. Use your index and middle fingers to grasp the top of the nozzle flange and place your thumb under the bottom of the bottle. Holding the bottle upright, press the sprayer several times to activate the spray pump. Carefully insert the sprayer tip into your nostril and press it evenly once or twice. While spraying, breathe in slowly through your nose and breathe out through your mouth. Repeat the procedure in the other nostril. After use, wipe the sprayer thoroughly with a clean cotton cloth. Replace the protective cap.
If no improvement is observed after 14 days of use, consult a doctor.
Use in children who cannot spray the spray themselves.
Place the child on their back and follow the procedure described above. Please note that the dose should be adapted to the child's age.
Side effects
No side effects have been reported. Lizobact Rino nasal spray does not cause addiction or withdrawal effects (i.e. when symptoms return with even greater intensity after stopping treatment).
In case of irritation or allergic reactions, stop using Lizobact Reno nasal spray and consult a doctor.
