Properties
Livodinol® Max contains a balanced combination of amino acid derivatives of natural origin that help improve the functioning of the hepatobiliary system in: liver damage associated with the toxic effects of alcohol, medications and other harmful compounds; non-alcoholic steatohepatitis; viral hepatitis, hepatoses, steatoses, cirrhosis, hepatic encephalopathy.
Ademetionine is a natural amino acid found in almost all tissues of the body and is involved in many metabolic reactions. Ademetionine has a long history of use, including in the European Union and the USA. In the liver, ademetionine acts as a methyl donor for all biological methylation reactions, providing the synthesis of polyamines and glutathione.
Ademetionine increases the level of hepatic glutathione in individuals with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver damage and plays a significant role in the detoxification of harmful compounds. The use of ademetionine is especially important in chronic liver diseases, since its level is significantly reduced in such conditions. The hepatoprotective activity of ademetionine has been demonstrated in numerous clinical studies.
L-glutathione is a tripeptide (cysteine, glycine, and glutamic acid) found in many tissues of the body. It plays a key role in reducing oxidative stress, maintaining redox balance, enhancing detoxification, and regulating the immune system. Maintaining a physiological level of reduced glutathione is justified in liver pathologies and neurodegenerative conditions.
It is advisable to use glutathione to reduce hepatotoxic effects that can be caused by alcohol, various medications, and pathological conditions.
N-acetylcysteine is a stable and biologically active form of the amino acid L-cysteine. N-acetylcysteine ensures the entry of cysteine into the cell, which is one of the components of glutathione. It is the concentration of L-cysteine in the cell that plays a key role in the rate of formation of reduced glutathione. Thus, N-acetylcysteine is advisable to use to maintain the physiological level of glutathione.
In addition, N-acetylcysteine has pronounced antioxidant and detoxification properties, which enhance the effect of other components in toxic liver damage and age-related changes in the body.
Recommendations for use
Livodinol® Max is recommended as an additional source of amino acid derivatives to normalize the functional state of the hepatobiliary system in case of liver dysfunction of various genesis, to reduce the toxic effects of antibacterial and chemotherapeutic agents, alcohol and other toxic agents. Livodinol® Max helps to improve metabolic processes and protein synthesis for the restoration of liver cells, helps to reduce fatty infiltration of the liver. Livodinol® Max, due to its pronounced detoxification and antioxidant properties, protects the body from the toxic effects of external factors and helps to slow down age-related changes in the body.
