Essential hypertension
The fixed-dose combination is not suitable for initiating therapy. The fixed-dose combination may replace the combination of 10 mg or 20 mg lisinopril and 12.5 mg in patients who have been stabilised on the individual active substances at the same doses as the individual products. The standard dose is one tablet once daily. As with any other once-daily medicine, this medicine should be taken at approximately the same time each day.
If the desired therapeutic effect is not achieved within 2-4 weeks of treatment, the dose can be increased to 2 tablets once a day.

Application features
Children
The safety and effectiveness of this medicine in children have not been established.
Drivers
During treatment with antihypertensive drugs (including the combination of lisinopril and hydrochlorothiazide), a slight or moderate influence on the ability to drive and use machines may be observed. Difficulties in driving or operating machinery are individual and more often occur at the beginning of treatment or when changing the dose of the drug, as well as against the background of alcohol consumption.
When driving a car and working with other mechanisms, it should be taken into account that dizziness and fatigue may occur while using the drug.
Overdose
Data on overdose in humans are limited. Symptoms of overdose with ACE inhibitors may include hypotension, circulatory shock, electrolyte imbalance, renal failure, hyperventilation, tachycardia, palpitations, bradycardia, dizziness, anxiety, and cough.
In case of overdose, an infusion of saline solution is indicated.
If hypotension develops, the patient should be placed on his back. If necessary, angiotensin II infusion and/or intravenous catecholamines should be administered. If the drug has been taken recently, measures aimed at eliminating lisinopril are indicated (e.g., induction of vomiting, gastric lavage, administration of absorbents and sodium sulfate).
Lisinopril can be removed from the general circulation by hemodialysis. In the event of bradycardia that is resistant to therapy, implantation of an artificial pacemaker is indicated. Vital signs, electrolytes, and serum creatinine should be closely monitored.
Symptoms of hydrochlorothiazide overdose include increased diuresis, depression of consciousness (up to coma), convulsions, paresis, cardiac arrhythmias, and renal failure.
Atropine administration is indicated to correct bradycardia or pronounced vagal reactions.
Hypokalemia may lead to increased arrhythmias in patients receiving digoxin.
Side effects
The most common adverse reactions were cough, dizziness, hypotension, and headache. Adverse reactions were reported to be mild, transient, and in most cases did not require discontinuation of therapy.
Storage conditions
