Properties
Locid has a comprehensive effect on the condition of the gastrointestinal tract and has a high level of clinical effectiveness. Biologically active components have antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, regenerating, astringent, hemostatic, absorbent, antitoxic and antioxidant effects. They exhibit antisecretory properties, reduce the synthesis of hydrochloric acid, contribute to its neutralization and regulation of pepsin levels, increase the resistance of mucous membranes to factors of acid-peptic aggression and prevent the occurrence of acid reflux and heartburn. They suppress the reproduction, activity and colonization of Helicobacter pylori, accelerate the healing of gastrointestinal ulcers.
Azadirachta Indiana contains minerals, vitamins, flavonoid quercetin, amino acids alanine and glutamine. It is the strongest natural antiseptic, has antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal and anti-inflammatory effects. It exhibits antioxidant, antisecretory and proton pump inhibitory properties (reducing gastric acid production), works as a gastroprotector and is effective in the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers.
Hedychium spicatum is used medicinally as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and regenerative agent. It eliminates nausea, promotes ulcer healing, neutralizes stomach acid, counteracts histamine, and reduces inflammation.
Chamomile contains bioflavonoids, coumarins, organic acids, vitamins, carotenoids, mucus, tannins. It has bactericidal, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, analgesic and antioxidant properties. Due to its direct antibacterial action, it inhibits the activity of Helicobacter pylori and reduces the rate of its reproduction. Its enveloping effect has a positive effect on the mucous membrane, eliminating defects and the severity of the inflammatory process. Chamomile, having an m-cholinolytic (spasmolytic) effect, weakens vascular spasm characteristic of gastritis, reducing pain.
White eclipta contains alkaloids, flavonoids, vedilolactone, demethylvedelolactone, which have astringent, hemostatic, anti-inflammatory, absorbent and antiseptic properties, have a powerful inhibitory effect on trypsin. Eclipta also counteracts histamine and reduces gastric emptying time in acid-peptic diseases.
Licorice glycyrrhizinate contains licurazide, glycyrrhizic acid, flavonoids (carbenoxolone, liquiritoside), sitosterol, pectins, mucilage and other biologically active substances. Glycyrrhizic acid inhibits the growth of Helicobacter pylori and has anti-inflammatory properties. Liquiritoside has an antispasmodic effect. Carbenoxolone accelerates the healing of gastric ulcers. Licorice glycyrrhizinate stimulates mucus production, increasing the resistance of mucous membranes to factors of acid-peptic aggression, prevents the occurrence of acid reflux, and alleviates the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), including acid reflux and heartburn.
Aloe vera has antimicrobial, regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties. Improves cellular metabolism, trophism and tissue regeneration, stimulates the synthesis of leukocytes and interferon, increases the resistance of mucous membranes to damaging agents, accelerates regeneration processes. Aloe vera has an alkaline reaction, helps regulate pepsin levels and reduce the formation of hydrochloric acid, which helps heal gastrointestinal ulcers and reduces discomfort caused by acid reflux.
Pearl calcium is used in Ayurvedic therapy to reduce stomach emptying time and neutralize stomach acid and quickly eliminate heartburn.
Peppermint has antiseptic, analgesic, and antispasmodic effects. It regulates the gastrointestinal tract, inhibits fermentation processes, and reduces flatulence, heartburn, nausea, and intestinal and gallbladder spasms.
Lactobacillus gasseri synthesizes bacteriocins (lactocylin, gassericin), which inhibit the growth of pathogenic microorganisms. Lactobacillus gasseri has an anti-inflammatory effect and produces lactic acid, which is involved in the protection of the gastric and intestinal mucosa. The L. gasseri OLL2716 strain is resistant to the acidic environment of the stomach and can colonize the gastric mucosa. Thus, Lactobacillus gasseri OLL2716 competes with H. pylori in the gastric mucus layer and effectively inhibits its colonization. It also increases the effectiveness of antibiotics in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori, which leads to a higher level of inhibition of its activity.
Lactobacillus reuteri DSM 17648 strain has a specific antihelicobactericidal effect. The co-aggregation of Lactobacillus reuteri and H. pylori impairs the adhesion of the bacterial pathogen to the gastric mucosa. Lactobacillus reuteri also has antimicrobial properties due to the bactericidal substance reuterin, which directly inhibits the survival and proliferation of H. pylori. The effect of Lactobacillus reuteri on the eradication of H. pylori is mainly manifested in improving the eradication rate, improving gastrointestinal symptoms and reducing the risk of disease recurrence.
Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 increase the level of Helicobacter pylori eradication and reduce the risk of side effects of eradication therapy. Saccharomyces boulardii have antimicrobial, antitoxic effects and contribute to an increase in the level of secretory immunoglobulin A.
