Magnefar B6 tablets No. 60
Magnefar B6 tablets are indicated for the prevention and treatment of magnesium and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) deficiency conditions.
Composition
Active ingredients: magnesium hydroasparaginate tetrahydrate and pyridoxine hydrochloride;
1 tablet contains magnesium hydroaspartate tetrahydrate 500 mg (corresponding to 34 mg Mg2+) and pyridoxine hydrochloride 5 mg;
Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, hypromellose.
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min. Phenylketonuria. Hypermagnesemia, vitamin B6 hypervitaminosis, myasthenia gravis. Blockade, severe arterial hypotension. Simultaneous use with levodopa. Diarrhea. Fructose intolerance, glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (due to the content of sucrose in the drug).Method of application
Magnefar® B6 is intended for internal use. Tablets should be taken after meals, washed down with water (at least 200-250 ml).
With magnesium and vitamin B6 deficiency:
Adults and children over 12 years of age are usually prescribed 1-2 tablets 3 times a day; children from 6 years of age (with a body weight of more than 20 kg) to 12 years of age are prescribed 1 tablet 3 times a day.For prevention: adults and children over 12 years of age are usually prescribed 1-2 tablets once a day.
Any increase in dose should be agreed with your doctor.
Application features
Pregnant women
The use of magnesium during pregnancy is possible only if necessary after consulting a doctor.
Children
The drug is used in children aged 6 years and older.
Drivers
No effect.
Overdose
Overdose of oral magnesium usually does not lead to toxic reactions in patients with normal renal function. However, magnesium intoxication may develop in patients with renal insufficiency.
Treatment: rehydration, forced diuresis. Patients with renal failure require hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
Side effects
Allergic reactions, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, skin reactions, including itching and hives.
Interaction
Concomitant use with levodopa should be avoided, as the effect of levodopa has been shown to be reduced when its use is not accompanied by peripheral dopa decarboxylase inhibitors. The use of the vitamin in any quantities is not indicated if levodopa is not accompanied by dopa decarboxylase inhibitors.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Keep out of reach of children.
