Magnemax-Health film-coated tablets blister No. 60




Magnemax-Health tablets are indicated for the treatment of confirmed magnesium deficiency in the body, both isolated and associated with other deficiency conditions.
Composition
Active ingredients: magnesium, pyridoxine;
1 tablet contains magnesium citrate anhydrous 618.43 mg, equivalent to magnesium 100 mg, pyridoxine hydrochloride 10 mg;
Excipients: lactose monohydrate, polyethylene glycol 6000; magnesium stearate, talc, dry mixture "Opadry white" containing titanium dioxide (E 171), hypromellose, triacetin (E 1518).
Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Severe renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min. Phenylketonuria. Hypermagnesemia, vitamin B6 hypervitaminosis, myasthenia gravis. Blockade, severe arterial hypotension. Simultaneous use with levodopa. Diarrhea. Fructose intolerance, glucose or galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency (due to the content of sucrose in the drug).Method of application
Swallow the tablets whole with 1 glass of water.
For adult patients, 3-4 tablets per day in 2 or 3 divided doses during meals.
For children from 6 years of age (with a body weight of approximately 20 kg): 10-30 mg/kg body weight per day (0.4-1.2 mmol/kg body weight per day) or 2-4 tablets per day in 2 or 3 divided doses with meals. The usual duration of treatment is one month.
The use of the drug should be discontinued as soon as the magnesium level in the blood returns to normal.

Pregnant women
The use of magnesium during pregnancy is possible only if necessary after consulting a doctor.
Children
The drug is used in children aged 6 years and older.
Drivers
No effect.
Overdose
Overdose of oral magnesium usually does not lead to toxic reactions in patients with normal renal function. However, magnesium intoxication may develop in patients with renal insufficiency.
Treatment: rehydration, forced diuresis. Patients with renal failure require hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
Side effects
Allergic reactions, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, skin reactions, including itching and hives.
Interaction
Concomitant use with levodopa should be avoided, as the effect of levodopa has been shown to be reduced when its use is not accompanied by peripheral dopa decarboxylase inhibitors. The use of the vitamin in any quantities is not indicated if levodopa is not accompanied by dopa decarboxylase inhibitors.
Storage conditions
Store in the original packaging at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C.
Keep out of reach of children.
