Composition

Sea water, purified water (corresponds to a salt concentration of 22 g/l (g/l)). Without preservatives

Release form

30 single-dose containers of 5 ml (ml) per package.

Indications for use

Marimer® Inhalation is intended for use during inhalation and aerosol procedures to improve respiratory function (in case of difficulty breathing), especially in patients suffering from cystic fibrosis, acute bronchiolitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Recommendations for use

One 5 ml (ml) container for 1 inhalation or aerosol treatment. Use 1 bottle 2-4 times a day depending on the severity of symptoms and the doctor's recommendations.

Method of administration and doses

• Detach the single-dose container and open it by twisting the top.
• Pour the inhalation solution into the nebulizer. The solution can be used with a pneumatic nebulizer. Use the nebulizer according to the manufacturer's instructions included with the nebulizer.

Side effect

In rare cases, increased cough and bronchospasm may occur. Pre-treatment with bronchodilators may be advisable.

Contraindication

Do not use in children under 1 year of age. Do not use in infants with atelectasis. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to seawater.

Reservation

Do not inject. Do not swallow. For single-dose use.

Do not mix with other products. Do not use if the vial is opened or damaged due to the risk of rapid bacterial contamination. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor. Please report any serious incidents related to this product to Laboratoires Gilbert or the competent national authority.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Storage conditions

Do not use after the expiry date stated on the packaging. Store in a place protected from light, at a temperature not exceeding 30º C.
