Marshmallow roots are indicated for respiratory diseases (chronic bronchitis, tracheitis, laryngitis, pneumonia, bronchial asthma, whooping cough) and gastrointestinal diseases (catarrhal conditions of the esophagus, gastritis with high acidity, enterocolitis, constipation, gastric and duodenal ulcers, especially those accompanied by diarrhea).

Marshmallow roots.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to biologically active substances contained in the medicinal product.

Method of application

6 g (1 tablespoon) of roots are placed in an enameled dish, poured with 100 ml (0.5 cups) of boiled water at room temperature and infused for 1 hour, filtered. Adults take 1 tablespoon warm 4-6 times a day. Children under 3 years old take 1 teaspoon 4-6 times a day, from 3 to 7 years old take 1 dessert spoon 4-6 times a day, from 7 to 12 years old take 1 tablespoon 4 times a day, over 12 years old take 1 tablespoon 4-6 times a day.

The duration of the treatment course is determined individually, taking into account the nature, severity and characteristics of the course of the disease, the stability of the achieved therapeutic effect and the tolerability of the drug.

Overdose

There have been no reports of overdose.

Not installed.

Interaction

Delays the absorption of other concomitantly taken drugs.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children.

The prepared infusion should be kept in a cool (8-15 °C) place for no more than 2 days.

Shelf life - 3 years.
