Description

The Gamma 700 K mechanical tonometer is a high-precision manometer with an advanced mechanism.

Characteristics

High-precision manometer with advanced mechanism High-strength cuff (nylon material), size 25.4-40.6 cm. Reliable needle valve with smooth overlap Air chamber and inflator made of high-quality latex, with seamless technology. Metal stethoscope included

Instructions for use

Make sure you are sitting comfortably, your legs are uncrossed, your back and arms are supported, and your arm is at heart level.

CAUTION: To avoid damage and incorrect results, ensure that all parts are properly connected and secured.

Locate the brachial artery by placing two fingers 2 centimeters above the inner elbow crease. Place your left arm in the ring formed by the cuff. Position the lower edge of the cuff approximately 1-2 centimeters above the elbow crease. Position the cuff so that the air tubes extend over the brachial artery. The cuff should fit snugly against your arm. Only one finger should fit between the cuff and your arm. Secure the cuff by throwing it over the metal ring and closing the Velcro. Make sure the cuff is applied correctly. Insert the ear tips of the stethoscope into your earlobes. Place the head of the stethoscope over the artery on your elbow below the cuff or 1-2 centimeters below the cuff. Place your arm on a table. Relax your arm and turn it palm up. Make sure the cuff is at heart level. Place the manometer in front of you. Hold the air pump in your right hand. Close the air valve on the manometer by turning the screw clockwise. To put on the cuff, quickly squeeze the inflator in your hand. If you know your normal systolic blood pressure, inflate the cuff until the needle on the manometer is 30 mm Hg higher than your normal systolic blood pressure. If you do not know or are unsure of this value, consult your doctor.

WARNING: Never inflate the cuff beyond 280 mmHg. You may injure yourself or damage the device.

Slowly open the air valve by turning the screw counterclockwise. Release air at a rate of 2-4 mmHg per second. Listen carefully to the tones through the stethoscope and watch the needle on the manometer. When you hear the first clear sound, the value will be the systolic blood pressure. Continue to release air at a rate of 2-4 mmHg per second. When the diastolic blood pressure value is reached, the pulse sound will no longer be heard. Open the air valve by turning the screw counterclockwise to completely release the air from the cuff. Record the reading in the logbook. Record the results immediately after the measurement (so as not to forget the reading). Remove the stethoscope. Remove the cuff.

NOTE: If you want to measure your blood pressure again, you can re-inflate the cuff. Since the blood vessels fill with blood, you must wait at least 5 minutes before measuring again to obtain accurate results.

Care

To protect the device from damage, avoid washing or getting the cuff wet, overheating the surface of the stethoscope, and dropping the manometer. Your new blood pressure monitor has been tested for reliability and accuracy before it left the factory. However, as with any high-precision device that is in constant use, it is recommended that you periodically check your blood pressure monitor. When the cuff is fully deflated, the manometer needle should point to the zero sector. If the manometer needle is outside the zero sector, the results obtained will be invalid. In this case, contact the nearest service center for calibration (the address of the service center is indicated in the warranty card).
