Medical plaster leopad 9 cm x 30 cm with silver ions No. 1

READY-TO-USE STERILE NON-WOVEN DRESSING WITH SILVER IONS
Leoped is a sterile, ready-to-use dressing with a micro-mesh pad coated with silver ions. The dressing helps control wound infection and prevents re-infection of the wound. Silver ions have excellent antiseptic properties, thereby reducing the viability and blocking the reproduction of pathogenic bacteria, viruses and fungi. According to clinical studies, silver at a concentration of 1 ion per million exhibits antibacterial activity against a wide range of microorganisms, while higher concentrations form inactive salts, which leads to staining and delayed epithelialization of tissues. The dressing material binds sodium ions contained in the exudate, which leads to the release of silver ions from the dressing fibers.
