Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is an important component in the mechanism of nerve impulse transmission in the central nervous system.

Increasing GABA levels in the human brain is accompanied by improved mood, reduced anxiety and tension, and improved sleep.

With prolonged neuro-emotional stress, a decrease in GABA levels is observed in parts of the brain.

Taking GABA compensates for the decrease in its level, activates tissue respiration, improves energy processes, and increases glucose utilization in nerve cells and cardiovascular organs.

Magnesium is an intracellular cation. Magnesium ions are necessary for the functioning of over 300 enzymes.

They participate in energy and plastic metabolism, influence the functioning of brain neurons and neuromuscular impulse conduction, and also act as physiological regulators of the activity of calcium ions.

Clinical deficiency of magnesium ions is manifested by sleep disturbances, irritability, mood swings, muscle weakness, tremors, heart rhythm disturbances (palpitations), and decreased intellectual and physical performance.
