The active ingredients of the dietary supplement Menoragin® / Menoragin® (capsules) are plant extracts of buckthorn (Carsella bursa-pastoris), nettle leaves (Urtica dioica), yarrow (Achillea milefolium), and calcium L-methylfolate.
Properties
Bursal extract (Carsella bursa-pastoris) can reduce the amount and duration of uterine bleeding in menorrhagia and metrorrhagia of various origins (menstrual and postmenstrual uterine bleeding), can improve the contractile activity of uterine smooth muscles and reduce pain, has anti-inflammatory activity, blood pressure, and has antioxidant activity.
Nettle leaf extract (Urtica dioica) may exhibit analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity, improve uterine contractile activity, help lower blood pressure by dilating peripheral vessels and diuretic activity, and may reduce menstrual blood loss. Vitamin K, which affects the synthesis of prothrombin in the liver, has antioxidant activity.
Yarrow extract (Achillea milefolium) can help relieve pain from dysmenorrhea, has antispasmodic, hemostatic and wound-healing activity, anti-inflammatory effect, and can positively affect the regulation of the menstrual cycle due to its estrogen-like effect.
Folate (calcium L-methylfolate) is involved in the synthesis of neurotransmitters and important enzymatic reactions in the body. By removing excess homocysteine, folate contributes to the healthy functioning of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. L-methylfolate has been shown to significantly increase the concentration of folate in red blood cells compared to folic acid. This bioactive folate is absorbed 7 times better than folic acid.
Calcium L-methylfolate is the predominant natural form of folate, one of the most bioactive, and the main form in human blood plasma. Folate is involved in the formation of blood cells, including erythrocytes; homocysteine metabolism, which, in turn, has a positive effect on blood clotting; the synthesis of amino acids, DNA and RNA; promotes tissue repair. The consumption of adequate amounts of folate makes a positive contribution to maintaining a normal psycho-emotional state, avoids mood swings, depression and anxiety, and helps normalize sleep by participating in the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Method of application
It is recommended to be prescribed to women aged 12 and over as an additional source of plant extracts contained in Menoragin® and methylfolate (in the form of calcium L-methylfolate) in complex therapy to normalize the functioning of the hematopoietic and cardiovascular systems, to support the body, and restore well-being with excessive or prolonged bleeding during and outside of menstruation (meno- and metrorrhagia, dysmenorrhea, and premenstrual syndrome).

A dietary supplement cannot replace a complete and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
The amount of dietary supplement recommended for daily use: for women aged 12 years and older, from the first day of menstrual bleeding onwards, 1 capsule 2-3 times a day after meals, washed down with a glass of water.
Duration of use: the course of use is 5-10 days, depending on the nature and severity of the condition. For a course of more than 10 days, it is necessary to consult a doctor.
Reservation
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, age up to 12 years. Do not use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Do not use together with drugs that affect blood clotting, thyroid drugs, sedatives.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
